School board updates form
School board updates form
Note: This form is replacing the Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 form that was previously hosted by the Ministry of Education and NZSBA.
Please complete the form if any of the following apply to your school:
- If you have had a parent, staff or student election (including by-elections). If you've had an election the returning officer will need to provide candidate information and election results (including candidate names and voting numbers).
- If you have a new board member taking office outside of an election. E.g co-option, selection or a change in Principal or Presiding member. The Ministry of Education and Te Whakarōputanga Kaitiaki Kura o Aotearoa need to be made aware when you have a new board member to ensure our records are up to date. It would be ideal for the board secretary to do this.
- If you have a member leaving your School Board. The Ministry of Education and Te Whakarōputanga Kaitiaki Kura o Aotearoa need to be made aware when a member is leaving so we can update this in our systems and ensure our records are up to date. It would be ideal for the board secretary to do this.
