 All schools should have called for nominations by now for both staff and parent elections.

Appendix 1 & 2

Candidates and Elections Results - Appendix 1open_in_new (you must be logged in as a Returning Officer to access this form).

After the election, Appendix 1 must be used by the Returning Officer to submit the Candidate and Election Results of School Board Member Elections to the Ministry of Education.

Change in Membership of School Board Members Appendix 2

Every new school board member needs to complete Appendix 2 when they take office following an election, by-election, selection to a casual vacancy (parent representative), co-optation or appointment; and when there is a change in principal or presiding member.

Note: re-elected board members do not need to complete the form.

Complete the form within one week of the declaration of election results, the selection to a casual vacancy, the co-optation or the appointment.
